Best way to see it
- Walk the old town in the evening, when the lanes light up
- Give the snow mountain its own day, with a lower option if altitude worries you
- Spend a slow half day in Yuhu Village and Baisha
Lijiang is at 2,400 m: drink water and go easy on the first night.
Sights
Glacier Park by the big cable car. Tickets are limited each day, so book ahead.
Boardwalk at 4,500 m+, ~450 steps (lower option: Spruce Meadow 3,240 m)
