Six travellers from Singapore, three generations of one family, spent 11 days in northwest Yunnan in September 2026. Our travel designer asked how far Dad walks at home before suggesting anything — and that one question shaped the whole trip.

## Splitting the snow mountain day

The kids and I took the big cable car to the glacier. Dad and Mum took the Spruce Meadow cable car at 3,240 m and met us for lunch.

Splitting the day by age let everyone see the mountain at the level that suited them, and the family still ate lunch together.

## A van that fit everything

Six big suitcases and a stroller fit in the 9-seat van. Small thing, big difference.
