Your signed travel contract and written quote always take precedence over this page. ### 1. Who we are Uncle Panda Travel is operated by Hunan Panda International Travel Service Co., Ltd. (湖南熊猫国际旅行社有限公司), a travel agency licensed in China (travel agency business licence L-HUN-304745). "We", "us" and "our" mean this company. ### 2. Information on this website Prices, itineraries, walking, altitude and driving figures are for planning and may change. Prices shown in currencies other than CNY are converted at a reference rate for your convenience only. Your written quote states the currency and amount that apply. ### 3. Quotes and bookings - A trip is booked only after you sign our travel contract and we receive your deposit. - The written quote and the signed contract take precedence over anything on this website. - Please check names, dates and passport details carefully. We book hotels, trains and tickets with the information you give us. ### 4. Payment Pay only to the company accounts named on our Licence & payment page or in your contract. We never ask you to pay a personal account. If anyone asks you to, contact us at service@unclepandatravel.com before paying. ### 5. Changes and cancellations - If you cancel, the refund table in your contract applies. The same table is shown on our Licence & payment page. - If a service has to change because of weather, road or safety conditions, or decisions by the authorities, we will offer a comparable alternative or refund the unused part as set out in your contract. - Events beyond anyone's reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics or government actions, are handled as set out in your contract and applicable law. ### 6. Your part - A valid passport and any visa or entry permit you need for China. - Telling us about health conditions, mobility or dietary needs that affect your trip, especially on high-altitude routes. - Following local laws and the reasonable safety instructions of your guide and driver. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical care, evacuation and cancellation. ### 7. Our responsibility We arrange the services in your contract with due care. Our responsibility is governed by your contract and the laws of the People's Republic of China, including the Tourism Law. Nothing on this page limits rights you have under applicable law. ### 8. Website content Text, photos and itineraries on this website belong to us or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use without our consent. ### 9. Updates and contact We may update these terms. The version and date at the top of this page show the current version. Questions: service@unclepandatravel.com. ## Privacy policy We handle personal information under the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and other applicable laws, such as Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act for customers there. ### What we collect - Details you give us: name, contact details (WhatsApp, email or phone), travel dates, group size, needs and messages. - After you book: passport details and other information needed to book hotels, trains, flights and tickets, as required by Chinese regulations. - Basic usage data: pages visited, device type and approximate location (country), collected through browser storage, cookies and Google Analytics. - Your approximate country, looked up from your IP address only to show prices in your currency (GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, [maxmind.com](https://www.maxmind.com)). We do not store it. ### How we use it To reply to your enquiry, plan and run your trip, meet legal and accounting obligations, and improve our website. We send marketing messages only if you opt in, and you can stop them anytime. ### Who we share it with - Suppliers needed for your trip (hotels, transport, guides, ticketing), and only what they need. - Service providers that run our website and analytics, such as cloud hosting and Google Analytics. - Authorities, when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information. ### Where it is stored Our servers and service providers may be outside your country, including in mainland China. We protect your information with reasonable technical and organisational measures. ### How long we keep it Only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example contract and accounting records). ### Your choices You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or stop marketing messages, by writing to service@unclepandatravel.com. ### Cookies and browser storage We use essential storage (for example to remember your currency) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work. ### Children Trips for children are booked by a parent or guardian.
