# Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what travellers ask us most before booking a private China trip: who we are and who receives your money, how cancellation works, visas, walking and altitude, dietary needs, and what a private tour with us actually looks like. If your question is not here, ask your travel designer directly.

## Licence & payment

### Are you a licensed travel agency?

Yes. Uncle Panda Travel is the brand of Hunan Panda International Travel Service Co., Ltd., a registered travel agency in Changsha. The licence number, company code and how to check them yourself are on our [Licence & payment](https://unclepandatravel.com/licence-payment) page.

### How can I pay? Who receives my money?

- Bank transfer, Alipay or WeChat Pay.
- Payment always goes to the company named on your contract, never to a personal account.
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, cards (Stripe) and PayNow are coming soon.
- Details and fees are on the [Licence & payment](https://unclepandatravel.com/licence-payment) page.

### What if we need to cancel?

Our refund table shows exactly how much is deducted at each stage before departure. It is the same table that goes into your contract.

## Travel needs

### Can my 70-year-old parents handle this trip?

Every day on our route pages shows estimated walking, stairs, driving time and altitude, plus a gentler option. Tell us their ages and how far they walk comfortably, and we will say honestly what fits.

### Can you handle dietary needs, like vegetarian or allergies?

Yes. Tell your travel designer before booking. Your driver-guide explains your needs to each restaurant in Chinese.

### What about altitude sickness?

We show the altitude for every day and offer lower alternatives. We cannot promise nobody feels it; if anyone has heart or lung conditions, please check with a doctor first.

## Planning

### Is it a private tour? Any shopping stops?

Private: only your group in the car. No forced shopping stops, ever.

### Do I need a visa?

Citizens of Singapore and Malaysia can currently visit China visa-free for short stays; Indonesian travellers usually need a visa. Rules change, so we check the latest official notice for your passport when you ask.

### How do we contact you during the trip?

Your driver-guide is with you every day, and your travel designer follows the trip on WhatsApp. Your confirmation pack lists names, numbers and a backup contact.

## Still have a question?

See the [Licence & payment](https://unclepandatravel.com/licence-payment) page for company and payment details, or send your question to your travel designer before you book.
